First time sitting on the other side of the table as an interviewer and I was more nervous than the candidate
#anxiety#first-job#interviews
Got asked to shadow-then-run a screening call eight months into the job. Spent longer prepping my questions than I ever did prepping to be interviewed. Candidate was calm, answered everything well, and I was the one who lost my place in the script twice. Nobody warns you that being on the hiring side comes with its own version of the nerves, just pointed a different direction.

AnonymousAnon The nerves flip is so real. I think it's because when you're the candidate you only have to manage yourself, when you're interviewing you're also responsible for how it goes for the other person.
