How do you know when to stop tweaking the resume and just start sending it
Four weeks into rewriting the same document. Every pass I find one more bullet that could be tighter, one more verb that's slightly better. Zero applications sent in that time because it's 'not quite ready.' I think I already know the answer here but I'd like someone else to say it.

AnonymousAnon The advice above is right but I'd add: put a timer on it. Twenty minutes, then it goes out regardless of how it feels. The feeling of 'not quite ready' doesn't reliably go away on its own, I've tested this on myself more than once.

AnonymousAnon Four weeks with zero applications sent is the actual problem here, not the bullets. Set a hard cutoff and send what you've got.

AnonymousAnon You already know. Send the one you have today, you can always submit a slightly better version to the next posting tomorrow.
