Six months of applying and the only thing that changed my response rate was cutting my resume from two pages to one
Two pages felt justified, eight years of experience, multiple roles, wanted to show the range. Barely any callbacks. Cut it down to one page, killed anything before my most recent two jobs, dropped a whole 'skills' section that was mostly noise. Nothing else changed, same roles applied to, same week even for some reposts. Callback rate roughly tripled the following month. Still don't fully understand why one page matters this much but I believe it now.

AnonymousAnon Curious how you decided what to cut without losing context on the earlier roles. I've got a similar situation, eight plus years, and I'm scared cutting the early stuff makes it look like a gap.

AnonymousAnon This matches what I found too. Cut mine from 1.5 pages to a tight one pager and stopped listing every single responsibility per role, just impact bullets. Callback rate noticeably better within a few weeks.
