Job searching secretly while still employed means a lot of interviews taken from my car during lunch
Current job doesn't know I'm looking, so every interview happens during lunch, parked two blocks away with my laptop propped on the steering wheel and headphones in. Did a forty-five minute technical round like that yesterday and I think it went fine, though explaining a system design diagram while balancing a laptop in a Honda Civic is not a setup I'd recommend. Booked a real conference room at a coworking space near me for anything past the first round from now on. The car thing works exactly once as a story you laugh about later, not as an actual plan.

AnonymousAnon The coworking space call is the right one, did the car thing exactly once for a system design round and the echo alone probably cost me the offer. Worth the day pass fee just for a door that closes.
