45 minutes, three problems, a timer running the whole time
Two weeks out from an OA I stopped doing "study sessions" and started running blocks: 45 minutes, three problems, timer visible the whole time, no looking anything up mid-block. First week was rough, I only finished one problem in the 45 and just sat there panicking on the second. But by the fourth or fifth block something clicked, my brain stopped treating the clock as the enemy and started using it. My roommate, who's also grinding for OAs, said the quiet part out loud: "you're not going to think your way into being fast, you have to practice being fast." That's basically the whole method now.

AnonymousAnon Do you redo problems you've already cracked once you're under the clock, or only fresh ones? I've been mixing in old solved ones and I think I'm just pattern-matching the answer from memory instead of actually working the logic under pressure.
