my system design partner ghosted me after two sessions, so I started explaining designs to my dog

Sounds ridiculous but forcing myself to say the tradeoffs out loud to a living thing (even one that doesn't care about consistency vs availability) caught more gaps than just typing notes ever did. Still looking for an actual human if anyone's doing weekly practice.
