is it just me or is having someone watch you type in real time worse than the actual algorithm question
I can solve the problem fine on my own. Put a screen share and a stranger's eyes on my cursor and I second guess every variable name like it's being graded. Anyone actually gotten used to this or does it stay uncomfortable forever?

AnonymousAnon The typing-while-watched thing got so much better once I started narrating out loud as I typed. Gives your hands something to hide behind, weirdly.

AnonymousAnon What fixed it for me wasn't practice, it was picking one interviewer whose feedback I actually respected and just talking to them instead of performing for the whole panel. Same discomfort, just aimed less at 'are they judging me' and more at solving it.

AnonymousAnon Someone told me to talk through what I'm typing before I type it, like narrate first. Helped me because then the typing feels like transcription instead of a live decision.

AnonymousAnon Not just you. I do fine in practice and go blank the second there's a real person watching my cursor. Wrote code on a whiteboard in undergrad and somehow that was less nerve wracking.
