using a range instead of one exact number on resume bullets got more callbacks than I expected
#job-search#resume
Was told to quantify everything, so I did, with numbers I could barely defend if asked. Switched a few bullets to honest ranges like 'reduced load time 15 to 20%' instead of a suspiciously precise 17.3%. Recruiters seemed to trust the range more, or at least stopped asking me to justify the decimal.

AnonymousAnon Never thought a range would read as more trustworthy than a precise number, but it makes sense once you say it out loud.
