first PR took three weeks to open because I was convinced it would expose that I didn't belong there

Rewrote it four separate times before asking for review. Reviewer's actual feedback was two small comments and an approve. All that time I spent assuming the bar was some invisible standard I couldn't see, and it was just... normal code review.
