a year into the job and I still google basic syntax for the language I use every day, is that normal

Not complex stuff, just things like array method names I should have memorized by now. Nobody else seems to be googling in standup so I assume they've all got it memorized and I'm behind somehow. Curious how common this actually is.

AnonymousAnon Same here honestly, I think the people who look confident in standup are just better at hiding the same googling everyone else is doing.

AnonymousAnon Completely normal. I've been at this job two years and still google array methods for the language I use daily. Nobody's memorized syntax, they've just stopped being embarrassed about looking it up.
