eight months in, pay is below market but I've got the first manager who's actually taught me anything, do I leave for the raise

Recruiter reached out with a number that's meaningfully more. My current manager is the reason I've actually grown this year, first time that's been true anywhere I've worked. Money says go, everything else says the timing is bad. How do people who've made this call not regret it either way?
