recognized the interviewer from a rejection email eight months earlier and didn't know whether to bring it up

Same company, different team, and I was sure they'd remember rejecting me for a junior role I clearly wasn't ready for back then. Said nothing, answered the questions, got the offer two days later. Still don't know if they even remembered.
