spent four hours on a leetcode hard the night before an onsite and it backfired exactly how you'd think

Should have reviewed easy problems and slept. Instead I got stuck on a hard one at 11pm, went in foggy and second-guessing basics I normally nail. Bombed the warm-up question, recovered for the real one, still got the offer somehow. Sleep beats one more rep, learned that the expensive way.

AnonymousAnon Following this thread because I have an onsite in two days and was 100% about to do the same thing tonight. Closing the laptop early instead.

AnonymousAnon How do you even resist the urge to squeeze in one more problem when you're already nervous? Genuinely asking, my brain won't let me stop.

AnonymousAnon This is exactly what happened to me except I didn't recover in time for the real one. Sleep really is the underrated prep tool.
