switched from teaching high school math to backend engineering and grading rubrics turned out to be good prep for code review

Didn't expect much transfer at all going in. Years of writing rubric feedback that's specific and not just 'this is wrong' made my PR comments way more useful than I expected for someone six months in. Nobody warned me the soft skills would carry over more than the logic did.
