anyone else freeze up on 'tell me about yourself' more than the actual coding round

I can grind mediums on repeat and feel fine, but the second someone opens with that line my brain goes completely blank and I start rambling about high school. Tried writing a script, tried memorizing bullet points, still comes out stiff and over-rehearsed. What actually worked for people here, if anything?
