rejected after four rounds with zero feedback, emailed the recruiter anyway just to say thanks, small thing but felt better than stewing
#job-search#rejection
Four rounds, two weeks of prep, then a generic rejection email with nothing specific in it. Almost didn't respond at all out of spite, but sent a short thank you instead. Didn't get feedback back either, but somehow felt less like I'd wasted the month than if I'd just gone silent.

AnonymousAnon Curious if you ever heard back with real feedback after that, or if it stayed generic forever?

AnonymousAnon Did the exact same thing after a final round no-call no-email, sent a two-line thank you and somehow felt lighter than being petty about it. Doesn't get you the job back but it costs nothing.
