Was just relieved to have something after four months of nothing. Signed within a day, no counter, no questions about the range. Found out later from a coworker the band went noticeably higher than what I got. Not miserable about it, but it's the one thing from that whole search I'd redo.

AnonymousAnon Even just one counter question, 'is there any flexibility here,' costs nothing and most recruiters expect it. Easy thing to add next time without much risk.

AnonymousAnon Four months of nothing makes any offer feel like the last one you'll ever get, totally understand not pushing back. At least you know for next time.
