switched teams internally instead of jumping companies and somehow that felt scarier than the external interviews ever did
#career-growth#imposter-syndrome
Figured an internal move would be low stakes since people already knew my work. Turns out being the known quantity who's suddenly the new person on a team is its own weird flavor of imposter syndrome. Nobody explains anything twice because they assume you already get the context. Three weeks in and it's finally leveling out.

AnonymousAnon Nobody warns you that internal moves reset the 'it's fine to ask questions' clock even though people already know you. Took me a while to realize I had to explicitly ask for the same onboarding a total stranger would've gotten.
