burned two weekends rebuilding my portfolio site nobody asked to see instead of applying, classic avoidance and I know it

Told myself the old site wasn't good enough to send anyone, so obviously the fix was rebuilding the whole thing from scratch with a new framework I'd never used. Two weekends gone, portfolio looks nicer, application count for the week is zero. Recognizing the pattern while still doing it is a special kind of frustrating.
