Had the number ready and still felt my voice do a weird thing saying it out loud over the phone. Recruiter didn't even pause, said she'd check and call back in an hour, and came back with the full ask plus PTO I hadn't asked for. No idea if that's normal or if I just badly underpriced myself in the first offer they floated.
