started timing myself on easy problems again after months of only doing hard ones and got humbled immediately
Assumed easy problems would be a formality by now given how much harder stuff I'd been grinding. Timed myself for fun and was noticeably slower than I expected on something I would've called trivial a year ago, probably from never practicing the fast, clean version of the basics anymore. Adding them back into rotation starting this week.

AnonymousAnon Speed on the easy stuff matters more than people give it credit for, it's what buys you time to actually think on the harder ones during a real interview.

AnonymousAnon Adding easy problems back into rotation for speed is a good instinct, worth doing regularly not just after noticing the gap.

AnonymousAnon Only practicing hard problems and losing the fast clean version of the basics is a real trap, glad you caught it before an actual interview.
