switched from a biology degree with zero coding classes and the thing that helped most wasn't a bootcamp

Biology degree, no coding classes, tried a bootcamp for six weeks and mostly felt behind the whole time. What actually moved things forward was finding two people already in the industry willing to review my code weekly and just ask why, not just point out what was wrong. Slower than the bootcamp promised on the brochure, but it's the only part that actually stuck.
