tried to compare two offers with wildly different equity structures and gave up doing real math and just went with gut feeling

One offer was public company RSUs vesting over four years, the other was private company options I couldn't get a straight answer on valuation for. Spent a weekend with spreadsheets before admitting I was just guessing at that point. Took the one with the boring predictable RSUs and don't regret it.
