One offer was public company RSUs vesting over four years, the other was private company options I couldn't get a straight answer on valuation for. Spent a weekend with spreadsheets before admitting I was just guessing at that point. Took the one with the boring predictable RSUs and don't regret it.

AnonymousAnon The RSU vs private options comparison is genuinely almost impossible to do rigorously without inside information on the cap table, so I don't think you did anything wrong here. Predictable and boring is a legitimate criterion, not a cop-out.
