got a rejection email that used a completely different candidate's name and somehow that stung more than the actual rejection

Three rounds, felt good about the process, then got a form rejection addressed to someone else entirely. Wasn't even mad about not getting the role at that point, just annoyed at how obviously templated the whole thing suddenly felt. Emailed to point it out mostly out of spite. Got an apology, no offer, unsurprisingly.
