job title said one thing on the offer letter and the actual day to day turned out to be something pretty different

Signed on for a role with 'engineer' in the title and ended up spending most of my first month doing what was basically support triage. Nobody was being dishonest about it exactly, just vague. Brought it up directly with my manager in week three and the scope has actually shifted since, slowly.
