asked a question in a design review I was sure was dumb and half the room admitted they were wondering the same thing

Almost didn't ask because it felt like a basic question everyone else probably already understood. Asked anyway, mostly out of frustration, and two senior engineers said out loud they'd been confused too. Nobody had wanted to be the one to say it first. Trying to remember that the next time I hold back.
