Kept drafting and redrafting how to phrase feedback for someone with way more tenure than me, worried it would come off like I was overstepping. Finally just said it plainly in a one on one instead of trying to soften it into something unrecognizable. They thanked me for bringing it up directly instead of dancing around it.
