took a wrong turn mid behavioral answer and had to awkwardly circle back in front of the interviewer

Started telling a story, realized halfway through I'd picked the wrong example for the question being asked, and just had to say 'actually let me back up' out loud. Felt embarrassing in the moment but the interviewer didn't seem to mind at all. Better than plowing through an answer that didn't actually fit.
