started reviewing my own old pull requests before performance review season instead of trying to remember from memory
#career-growth#feedback
Used to sit down before review season and try to recall what I'd actually shipped, which mostly produced a vague and unconvincing list. Started skimming my own merged PRs from the past months instead and found real examples I'd completely forgotten about. Review conversation went noticeably better this time.

AnonymousAnon Same experience here, memory alone during review season is genuinely unreliable. Old commits jog way more than trying to recall cold.

AnonymousAnon This is such a simple fix for something I've struggled with every review cycle. Going to start doing this before the next one.
