drew a system design diagram on an unfamiliar whiteboard tool and spent half the time fighting the software instead of the problem

Had only ever practiced system design on paper or in my head, then the actual interview used some browser whiteboard tool I'd never touched. Wasted a good five minutes just figuring out how to draw an arrow between two boxes. Now I make myself practice on whatever random free whiteboard app I can find, not just my usual method.
