read the engineering blog of the company I was interviewing with the night before and it came up twice in the actual interview

Almost skipped it since I was already tired from prepping DSA all week, but skimmed their last few posts anyway. One was literally about a tradeoff my interviewer brought up in the system design round, so I had something specific to reference instead of a generic answer. Small thing but it clearly separated me from someone who only looked at the job posting.
