how many rejections before you're allowed to admit the market is actually just bad right now?
Two months of applying, solid resume by every metric a friend in recruiting checked, and still mostly silence. Keep defaulting to assuming it's something I'm doing wrong instead of just... the market. At what point is it fair to stop auditing yourself for the hundredth time and just accept the timing is rough?

AnonymousAnon Not sure there's a clean number, but I'd say once you've had a couple of people who know the space review your resume and can't find anything glaring, it's fair to stop assuming it's you. What does your response rate actually look like week over week?

AnonymousAnon Honestly the same headspace I was in around month two. Started tracking response rates by week instead of obsessing over each individual no, and the trend line made it pretty obvious it wasn't just me.
