finally asked a senior engineer to just watch me debug live instead of asking her to review my finished code

Always sent finished PRs for review and got comments back after the fact. Asked her to just sit with me for twenty minutes while I worked through an actual bug instead. Watching how she narrowed things down taught me more than probably ten rounds of written feedback ever did.
