Six months into the career switch and the vocabulary gap was the scariest part, not the actual work. First standup I just nodded along to acronyms I didn't know and looked them up after. Nobody seemed to notice or care, turns out half the team googles things mid-meeting too.

AnonymousAnon The acronym thing is so real. I came from finance and spent my first month keeping a private notes doc just translating jargon after meetings. Nobody ever found out and I'm still slightly ashamed of how long I kept doing it.
