Manager asked me to make the case for myself and I almost went in with vague impressions of a good year. Spent a weekend pulling specifics from old PRs and sprint notes instead. Having actual numbers and dates instead of 'I feel like I did well' completely changed the conversation.

AnonymousAnon Doing this exact thing right now for my own review cycle. The hardest part for me has been remembering stuff from early in the year, by month nine it all blurs together without notes.
