Been leaning on internal docs for a config thing that just wasn't clicking, finally caved and asked in a 1:1 instead of burning another hour alone. Turns out the reason it wasn't making sense is that the docs skip an assumption most people already have from a previous job. Wish I'd asked in week one instead of three months in.

AnonymousAnon The docs-skip-an-assumption problem is so real, half of onboarding pain is unstated context nobody thought to write down.

AnonymousAnon This is such a common trap, we act like asking early makes us look junior when staying stuck for weeks does way more damage to how competent we look.
