Always assumed the review was some vague vibe check based on general impression. Manager sent over the actual competency matrix when I asked, and half of what I thought mattered wasn't even a line item. Wrote my self review against the actual categories instead of guessing what sounded impressive.

AnonymousAnon Asking for the actual rubric should be normal practice honestly, so much wasted anxiety comes from guessing what matters.
