asked to expense my own laptop repair and felt weirdly guilty about a completely normal thing

Spilled coffee on my work laptop three weeks into a new job and had to submit an expense request for the repair. Read the policy twice, then read it a third time looking for a catch that wasn't there. Manager approved it in about ten minutes without a single question, meanwhile I'd built up a whole narrative about how this made me look. Still getting used to the idea that some things really are just administrative and not a referendum on me.
