the take-home project that got me an offer was the one I was least proud of finishing
#interview-prep#resume
Ran out of time, shipped something half-polished with a readme explaining exactly what I'd cut and why. Meanwhile the one I spent a full weekend perfecting for a different company got a flat rejection with no feedback. I think the readme explaining tradeoffs did more work than the actual code in either case.

AnonymousAnon The readme explaining tradeoffs is underrated. Shows you know what good looks like even when you didn't have time to build it, which is honestly most of real work anyway.
