the system design round where I asked zero questions before whiteboarding and the interviewer stopped me halfway through

I had a diagram half done when they asked what the actual read/write ratio was. I hadn't asked. Had to erase and restart the conversation instead of the drawing. Oddly the restart went better than the first attempt because I'd already burned the urge to just start drawing.
