asked for extra PTO instead of more salary when the band was capped and didn't expect them to actually say yes

Figured it was worth asking since the base number clearly wasn't moving. Got five extra days a year added in writing, no fuss. Small thing on paper but it's already changed how I think about this job versus the last one, which never budged on anything.
