Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 21 June 2026

In short: CareerVerse's core service is free to use, and Premium is available as a paid subscription. You can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. If you change your mind, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase. We always honour the consumer rights the law gives you in your country.

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how ASOasis Tech Private Limited ("ASOasis", "we", "us", or "our") handles cancellations and refund requests for CareerVerse, our AI career-development platform. Please read it together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which it forms part of, and alongside the refund terms our payment processor presents at checkout. If anything here is unclear, contact us at support@careerverse.tech — we would much rather help you directly.

1. The core service is free; Premium is paid

In short: The core service is free, and Premium is available as a paid plan.

CareerVerse's core service is offered free of charge, and our Premium subscription is available as a paid plan. The sections below describe how billing, cancellation, and refunds work for Premium purchases.

2. How paid plans are sold

In short: Paid plans are sold through a third-party payment processor that acts as the merchant of record; it collects payment and issues any refund to your original payment method.

Paid plans are sold and billed through our third-party payment processor, which acts as the merchant of record for the transaction. This means the payment processor — not ASOasis directly — is the seller of record for your purchase: it collects payment, handles applicable taxes, and processes any refund. ASOasis remains the provider of the CareerVerse service and the party you should contact first about any product issue or refund request. Your purchase is also subject to the refund terms the payment processor presents at checkout, which this Policy is intended to mirror.

Where a refund is issued, it is returned to your original payment method, in the original currency; the time it takes to appear is determined by the processor and your bank or card network.

3. Your 14-day refund window

In short: You can request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase.

If you change your mind about a purchase, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the date of your transaction. Contact us as described in Section 4, or use the refund or support links in your purchase receipt, which reach the payment processor as merchant of record. Approved refunds are returned in full to your original payment method.

After the 14-day window has passed, a purchase is non-refundable, except where your statutory consumer rights provide otherwise (Section 6).

4. How to request a refund

In short: Email us with your account email, the charge or receipt, and your reason.

The easiest way is to email support@careerverse.tech (or use our contact us page). To help us process your request quickly, please include:

  1. the email address on your CareerVerse account, so we can find you;
  2. the charge or receipt — a receipt number, the confirmation email, or the date and amount; and
  3. your reason, especially if it's a product problem we can fix.

We'll acknowledge your request, and once it's approved the payment processor returns the refund to your original payment method. You'll usually hear back within two business days. You may also see refund or support links in your receipt or confirmation email — those reach the same place.

5. Cancelling a subscription

In short: Cancel anytime. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for, and future renewals stop.

You may cancel a subscription at any time from your account settings or through the payment processor. When you cancel:

  • your access to paid features continues until the end of the current paid period; and
  • future automatic renewals stop, so you won't be charged again.

If your subscription is in a free-trial period, you are not charged during the trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you won't be billed at all; if you keep Premium, the trial converts to a paid subscription and billing begins when the trial ends. You can cancel at any time from your account settings or through the payment processor.

Cancelling stops future billing; it is not the same as a refund. If you'd also like a refund for a recent charge, request one within the 14-day window described in Section 3.

6. Your statutory consumer rights

In short: We always honour the mandatory consumer rights of your country.

Nothing in this Policy limits or excludes any mandatory consumer-protection right you have under the law of your country. Many places give consumers a statutory withdrawal or "cooling-off" period for online purchases — for example, 14 days in the EU/EEA and UK, and 7 days in countries such as South Korea, Brazil, China, and Canada. For digital content and digital services such as CareerVerse, this withdrawal right may fall away once you have started using the paid features, where you asked for immediate access and acknowledged that you may lose the right of withdrawal by doing so. Where a statutory right applies to you, it prevails over the rest of this Policy.

7. Fraud and abuse

In short: A refund may be refused where there is evidence of fraud or refund abuse.

In line with our payment processor's refund terms, a refund may be refused where there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behaviour. This does not affect any right the law gives you.

8. Before you raise a chargeback

In short: If something's wrong, email us first — we can usually fix it faster than a bank dispute.

If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us at support@careerverse.tech first. Most issues — billing mistakes, accidental renewals, or technical faults — are resolved quickly and directly. If we can't resolve it together, the matter can be escalated to the payment processor as merchant of record. Raising a chargeback never removes any right the law gives you.

9. Changes to this Policy

In short: We may update this Policy; the version in effect when you bought governs that purchase.

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, where changes are material, provide additional notice where appropriate. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase, and changes otherwise take effect prospectively.

10. Contact

In short: Questions about a charge, a cancellation, or a refund? We're one email away.

This Policy is governed by the laws of India, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you in your country of residence (Section 6), and is consistent with the governing-law and dispute-resolution terms of our Terms of Service.
